Hosted by: 3D Printing Club
When: Thursday, November 13 2014, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: Engineering 2 Rm #323
Category: On-Campus (includes Depot)

Please join us this Thursday (11/13) in the Engineering 2 Building in room 323 at 6pm. Alex Ness, a digital media student and AutoDesk representative, will be teaching us to use the modeling program 3DS Max. This is an extremely powerful 3D package for any modeling/designing need, it can even be adjusted to suit your demands.

This program is free for students, and available for Windows users to download from AutoDesk here: http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/students-university/popular?mktvar001=rep194&mktvar002=rep194

To participate come with the program installed, ready to use, and your laptop fully charged. Don’t forget to bring your charger (I’ll look for extra power strips) as this is a demanding program, a mouse will also make your experience much more pleasant.

Feel free to email uconn3dpc@gmail.com if you’re having problems with installation or have any other questions for Thursday.
